Those City Lights – Absconding Reality hits the streets
Well...the digital streets.
Those City Lights (TCL) are a 2 man team from the UK that play Progressive Ambient Rock. We like to call it ChillRock. Its got massive soundscapes that literally take your mind on a journey and is one of the best Progressive Ambient albums we've heard in a long time
The debut EP with 7 songs (more like a full album) Absconding Reality takes the listener into a journey that has ebbs and tides..truly a digital masterpiece.
We think you will agree. So much so that we've posted one of their songs on our links to the right there...check it out and then when you are done...go to our official BandCamp page and support the artist by buying a copy.
Songs in the Key of “D” is OUT

At long last the heavily anticipated compilation CD "Songs in the Key of D" is out today.
14 bands on the album with 2 bonus tracks, One from Shattered Skies and one from Sithu Aye.
The Djent / Prog Metal compilation focuses on these 14 bands and comes with a full color booklet (with iTunes purchase) with pictures, lyrics and bios on all the artists and links to all of their social and merchandise sites.
The original lineup for the album has changed a bit from when it was previously announced. Changes happen and the reasons why these happened are not important, the important thing is the lineup is better than it was before and the artists on it are truly amazing and talented people and most importantly, we got the release out the door to showcase those who ARE involved.
Rogue Records America wants to thank all of the artists for being a part of this release and hope it brings more exposure to all of you and future success with it.

Synthetic Breed “zero Degrees Freedom” Digital Ep set for release
Australian Industrial Djent Metal Masters, SYNTHETIC BREED return with the newly titled "ZERO DEGREES FREEDOM" digital EP release...
When joining SYNTHETIC BREED in April 2011, M. literally had one month to learn our show and Synthetic Breed were on the road for the Perpetual Motion Machine Australian tour.
That more or less took the band to the end of 2011.
Throughout the PMM tour, M. was incorporating more and more of her own unique style to the material. Following the tour, the idea for a new EP was conceived. M. has recorded vocals over some older material, not as a means of comparison at all, but more of a preview of what people can expect on our next album which will be released late 2012/very early 2013."
Now, Rogue Records America and Synthetic Breed are proud to present the new sound of Synthetic Breed with the release of the EP "ZERO DEGREES FREEDOM"
The EP will consist of three “re-worked” PERPETUAL MOTION MACHINE tracks, one CATATONIC track plus one previously unreleased, new song.
"ZERO DEGREES FREEDOM" DIGITAL EP WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD AND LIMITED USB RELEASE FROM MAY 5TH 2012

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) - Mar 19, 2012 -
San Francisco, California, Monday March 19th
New kid on the block independent metal label, Rogue Records America, has signed a distribution deal with industry giants Century Media Records’ CM Distro. The agreement sees the San Francisco based publisher adding to their global digital distribution network by expanding into physical CD mail order.
Speaking of the deal, Rogue Records Founder and CEO, Dean Martinetti said, “We have second to none global digital distribution but some fans want to hold a CD in their hands. Working with Century Media, the best in the industry in our opinion, allows us to give fans- and bands- music anyway they want it. It’s a real step forward for us.”
The first Rogue Records artist to benefit from the deal will be up and coming Australian industrial djent outfit, Synthetic Breed. Their album ‘Perpetual Motion Machine’, was previously available for download only.
“Rogue Records releases fit perfectly with Century Media’s metal and rock specialty. We’re stoked to be helping them make their music as widely available as possible to as many fans as possible,” said Jeff Wagner, Head Buyer at CM Distro, Century Media’s distribution arm.
‘Perpetual Motion Machine’ by Synthetic Breed is priced at $9.99 and will be available on Thursday March 22nd. Mail order at www.cmdistro.com.
